National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria has conferred Dr. Rahman Mustapha, Director, Investment and Consultancy Services, Kwara State University, Malete with a fellowship honour.
Dr. Mustapha, a seasoned financial expert and president, Ilorin Chapter of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria was inducted as fellow of NMIN at Annual General Meeting and Dinner held at Raddison Blu Hotel, GRA Ikeja, 27th May, 2021.
While feeding questions from KWASU journalist, the former banker expressed his delight at being conferred with institute’s highest honour, stating that the award is in recognition of his industry experience and track records at Kwara State University.
He said, the award would accord him the leverage to be on the board of the institute and be able to contest for president of the marketing body, further noting the feat would put him in a better stead to allow his students and staff alike in the university to be repositioned in the minds of regulatory bodies in the marketing world.
He further added that the accolade would give him an edge to further excel in his role as Director of KWASU investment and Consultancy Services and sell KWASU to the outside world.
The marketing ace has over twenty years experience in the banking industry. He is currently the Coordinator of KWASU MBA programme and is a member of various professional bodies including: National Institute of Management, NIM: Chartered Institute for Public Diplomacy and Management, CIPDM: National Marketing Institute of Nigeria and lots more
